Saw the movie tonight. It was so good! I want to re-read the books again now. I thought they did a really good job in sticking with the story. Yes, there were things missing and yes, there were some changes. There pretty much have to be when condensing a large book down to an hour and a half movie. I was quite pleased with both Kristin and Robert, I thought they did excellent jobs with the roles of Bella and Edward. They certainly got the awkward teenage gee I think I like you down pat.

The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the actress who played Rosalie. She just didn't do it for me but I couldn't really tell you why.

I just started reading the third book yesterday. Have you read all four of the them? I haven't seen the movie yet. Not sure if I want to.

Oh yes, I've been a fan since the first one. Actually, I read the first one before it was published, one of the perks of working in the book biz. I enjoyed the movie because I wasn't expecting it to be as good as the books. IMO, movies can never live up to the movies in our heads when we're reading books. But, I thought they did a good job with it. Was it the best movie I've ever seen? No. Was it entertaining and did I enjoy it? Yes. The fact that it made me want to re-read the book for the 3rd time is a good thing, I think. It certainly explains why the books are still selling like there's no tomorrow!
